Large
loose boxes and good turnout
We have facilities suitable for most horses
and have a reputation for happy relaxed animals. All boxes are dry, the floor
being lined with rubber mats and a choice of bedding used.
Circular
Pen
A very useful and popular feature of the yard is the circular school. It can
be used for loose schooling, exercising when you're short of time, lunging
young horses, loose jumping, or just letting your horse have a play around!
It
is valuable for giving a newly broken horse some work before riding out.
Good quality haylage
is made on the farm.
If required, horses can be turned out during the day most of the year on well
fenced, clean land. Our own young stock and some livery horses winter
out with haylage fed in racks.
Sand Arena
We have a large sand school (50mtrs X 25mtrs) with excellent drainage so is always
suitable for use. It
has been fenced with wooden posts and 3 rail plastic fencing and has
adequate lighting for evening use.
Cross
country course
Over part of the farm, the cross country course provides jumps
appropriate for all abilities. Hunter Trials are held on the course
a couple of times during the year.

Furzehill Farm
has a flexible and affordable approach to stabling your horse. You decide
what you want, and we will do our best to meet your requirements and charge
you accordingly. The farrier attends the yard regularly as does an equine
dentist.
